Dog shirts??

One of our friends gave us this shirt for Arcee last week because they were just going to throw it away otherwise. Neither of us like or even approve of putting clothing on dogs, but while Mike was gone one night I decided I just had to put it on her and take a picture. Pretty funny looking if you ask me, and Arcee hated it!

Anabelle playing with the fun play mat our friends Seth and Carrie let us borrow. Usually she'll end up rolling off of it in about 2 minutes, but she likes the music it plays.

We went to a Marlins game last week with some people from Mike's work, and that was a lot of fun, other than it being so hot and humid that we couldn't stop sweating. It was the first time going to a major league game for us.

So long...

Sorry it has been so long since a posting. We have all of our pictures on our laptop now and I don't use it very often.
Anyway, Anabelle has been growing like crazy. She's 6 1/2 months old now! She has one tooth that has broken through the gums on the bottom and the one right next to it will come through any day now. She's rocking back and forth on her hands and knees, trying her best to crawl. It is so funny to watch because she gets so frustrated when she can't go where she wants. You can see in the top picture that her blonde hair is finally starting to grow in :) We are having a lot of fun with her.

School starts for me next week. I am taking 6 credits and then I will only have one class left to take in the Spring before I can graduate. Hooray!!! So exciting!

Dog-sitting

So we watched our friends' dog Zeus over this last weekend. He's a puppy, too, and he and Arcee just wrestled the entire time. It was nonstop for them, and when they tired of wrestling, they moved on to tug of war (for 45 minutes straight at a time---no letting go). These dogs were serious about it! Arcee is much more bored now that her friend is gone.

Fishing

We went fishing the day before my birthday and I caught 3 fish!! No one else there caught any. It was pretty cool, but I haven't caught any since :( Here's a pic of me with one of the bass I caught.

Mike is such a good Daddy. I love to watch him play with Anabelle. She absolutely adores him and is all smiles when Mike plays with her. I'm glad he was able to enjoy his first Father's Day as a Dad. We love you honey!

Current Happenings

So Anabelle has been rolling across the living room and grabbing her feet lately. She smiles so much, especially in the mornings right when she wakes up (unless she's super hungry and sees me). She loves Arcee and the two of them get along pretty well. It certainly won't be long before Anabelle is chasing Arcee around the house pulling at her tail and such. Anyway, here are some recent pics.




Arcee loves to hide under Anabelle's crib, mostly because we can't really get to her there. It's a nice little cave for her...

Oh, and I made Mike this monster cake for Father's Day. It had 2 brownie layers and 2 cake layers. Let's just say that I couldn't even eat an entire piece.
