Last day of work...

Today was my last day at work. I'm excited because that means I'm closer to my due date, but I will really miss everyone there. My kids have been so wonderful, and I have learned so much from working there. The girls I work with are so great! My going away present was a mini-baby shower. They got me a huge basket full of baby stuff (all of which I still needed). They are so wonderful and I will miss them so much. Thanks again girlies!!!

Updates

Okay, so my pregnant belly is finally starting to look like I am going to give birth soon. I have only about 3 weeks left until her due date, and we are so excited!! We've been working on getting her nursery all in order, and it is coming along very well. I'll post pictures of it when it is finished.

This is her travel system. I really love the colors (I love red!) and I like that it is gender neutral. It's crazy to think that she'll be using this in just a couple of weeks.

Merry Late Christmas to everyone. Here are the presents Sarah and I got for each other.
She got me a bunch of tools and a tool box.
I made Sarah a new bed since ours has been falling apart. I carved our names into the head posts. She thought it was pretty cool.
One last thing. Arcee is a lot of fun to play with. She has no ability to brake once she gets up to speed though. Just watch.

Ankle Sprain

Mike sprained his ankle last week playing basketball. It's still swollen, bruised, and sore. Poor guy. Here are some pics.

Arcee has a tendency to puff up her lips so they look swollen (it took us a while to realize they weren't really swollen). The other day while I was cooking in the kitchen, I turned around and Arcee was sitting ever-so-nicely on the kitchen floor just looking up at me with this smirk on her face. I don't know how well you'll be able to notice it in this picture, but it was pretty hillarious. Even when I talked to her and was laughing at her, she still just sat there motionless.

Getting closer...

So my belly is starting to get a lot bigger now, and much more uncomfortable. Bending down is pretty difficult, although Mike thinks it's funny to see me spread my legs and squat just to get something out of the fridge. The first pic is from a week ago, the second is from last night.


We also bought a crib, dresser/changing table, and a bedding set over Thanksgiving weekend. Mike set them up, so here they are. I'm so excited; I think they are adorable.

We also gave Arcee a bath...she hates baths! But she was dirty.
And here is our Christmas tree, all decorated. Arcee enjoys that a little too much, and we have to watch her so she doesn't destroy any of it.

Oh, and one more thing...Today is my last test for school! The semester is finally over and I could not be more happy and relieved. Hooray!!! I have almost an entire month off before next semester starts

Thanksgiving with the Whiteheads

We had a blast visiting Jess, Joe, Ethan, and Noah for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun preparing our first Thanksgiving meal all by ourselves together. Our turkey turned out beautifully, and it was delicious. We had all of this food for just six people. As you would imagine, we had TONS of leftovers that we ate for the next few days...yum :)

The boys are getting so big and were a lot of fun to be around. We couldn't have Arcee around them much because they all liked to share the same toys and Arcee likes to bite when she plays.

We were also able to go to Nauvoo on Saturday. It was awesome! That temple is gorgeous. Here are some pics.

We woke up to snow the morning we left to go back home. Snow makes everything so much more beautiful. We did not have snow back home in Wichita.
