Getting closer...

So my belly is starting to get a lot bigger now, and much more uncomfortable. Bending down is pretty difficult, although Mike thinks it's funny to see me spread my legs and squat just to get something out of the fridge. The first pic is from a week ago, the second is from last night.


We also bought a crib, dresser/changing table, and a bedding set over Thanksgiving weekend. Mike set them up, so here they are. I'm so excited; I think they are adorable.

We also gave Arcee a bath...she hates baths! But she was dirty.
And here is our Christmas tree, all decorated. Arcee enjoys that a little too much, and we have to watch her so she doesn't destroy any of it.

Oh, and one more thing...Today is my last test for school! The semester is finally over and I could not be more happy and relieved. Hooray!!! I have almost an entire month off before next semester starts

Thanksgiving with the Whiteheads

We had a blast visiting Jess, Joe, Ethan, and Noah for Thanksgiving. It was a lot of fun preparing our first Thanksgiving meal all by ourselves together. Our turkey turned out beautifully, and it was delicious. We had all of this food for just six people. As you would imagine, we had TONS of leftovers that we ate for the next few days...yum :)

The boys are getting so big and were a lot of fun to be around. We couldn't have Arcee around them much because they all liked to share the same toys and Arcee likes to bite when she plays.

We were also able to go to Nauvoo on Saturday. It was awesome! That temple is gorgeous. Here are some pics.

We woke up to snow the morning we left to go back home. Snow makes everything so much more beautiful. We did not have snow back home in Wichita.

Off to Iowa

We're going to Iowa today to spend Thanksgiving with Jess, Joe, Ethan and Noah!! We're so excited to see them, as we haven't since we moved out here in May. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We hope it is wonderful for all of you!

Arcee

We took a couple of pictures to show how big Arcee is by comparing her to Mike's foot, which may make her seem even smaller ;) We also find her sleeping in strange positions, like with her head in her water bowl...she makes us laugh.


We're having a lot of fun with her, and she's getting more crazy every day. We'll take her outside to play and she just pounces around like a maniac...it's very cute. She's becoming more coordinated; perhaps in a couple of weeks she won't be running sideways anymore. Through looking up a bunch of different dog breeds, we've come to the conclusion that we think she's an Australian Shepherd (for those of you who are still wondering).

Prego Belly & Surprise!!!!

It's been a while since I posted a picture of my belly, which is good because it's given some time to actually get a reaction out of people when they see how much I've grown. Here's a pic from today. As you can see, I've gained some weight. Our little girl is definitely growing!

Setting up our house is coming along. We'll post some pictures of that later.

Guess what else. We got a puppy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here are some pictures of her. We decided to name her Arcee. (Ten points to anyone who knows where that comes from without googling it.) I have been trying to convince Sarah that we NEED a dog with our new house, and I finally broke her. I found her on Craig's list. This lady found a box of ten puppies in a ditch by the side of the road while it was raining, and they took them in. She is the cutest puppy ever. Here she is with me. (Yes mom, I know it looks like I've lost weight.)

Moving Day !!!!!

Tomorrow we are moving to our new house. We are really excited. This evening we had our walk through, and everything looked good. We will post some pictures of our house as soon as we get our cable set up there.
Nothing else happening here though.

Happy Halloween!

Last night for Halloween, we went to our church for the "Trunk or Treat". It was pretty fun. Mike dressed up as a blanket hog (he came up with it all by himself), and we came up with my costume about a half hour before we had to leave. I was "freezing" because he stole all of my blankets.
